DRY NEEDLING
CHIROPRACTIC
Chiropractic is a safe and effective health care modality that uses a variety of techniques to identify and treat mechanical dysfunction in order to relieve pain and restore normal function to the body.
Dry needling is the use of acupuncture needles into trigger points of muscles - the really tight parts of muscles that are very tender and refer pain. Trigger points can lead to many problems from bursitis, reduced movement, tingling and general aches.
HOME EXERCISES
REHABILITATION
Though chiropractic is very effective at helping ease pain and correcting dysfunction, you will get the best and most lasting result if you actively work on changing the things that caused your problem to occur. This is why I give home exercises, mostly stretches.
For more chronic or recurring problems Dr Claire can take you through a rehabilitation program to isolate areas of weakness or hyper-activity. Specific exercises are then given to strengthen, release and coordinate function, bringing about lasting relief.
WELL BEING ADVICE
CERVICOGENIC DIZZINESS
With 25 years of her own personal development journey Dr Claire is very skilled at helping you to find where your stress is coming from and give you tools to help resolve it. Diet is another consideration that can be looked at to help you feel great. This illustrates how well Dr Claire digs deeper to really get to the root cause of your problem.
Big word! This means dizziness cause by the neck. The neck plays large and important role in balance, when it has been through trauma such as a car accident, the dysfunction of the neck can cause dizziness and balance problems. Dr Claire can assess this and provide a program to retrain the neck and brain to resolve the dizziness.
